Okeanos Pearl Winner of the Innovation Award at the local Tourism Awards

It was a lovely evening put together by the Ministery of Tourism of French Polynesia, to reward companies with the most innovative projects, more sustainable or best event of the year.

Pearl Resorts of Tahiti, through its Bora Bora property, received the award for the most innovative project for their solar-powered catamaran Okeanos Pearl. It is an honor to receive this prize in recognition for the eco-tours (and awesomely romantic sunset cruises) that can be offered with the beautiful Okeanos Pearl, and the company’s commitment to a better and more sustainable future.

One should be reminded that General manager Julien Bresssoles was the only one about 2 years ago to give his approval for such ambitious project, to the Soel Yachts’ architects and designers. As a local hotel group, sustainability matters. Okeanos Pearl, the Biorock program are a few initiatives. Our goal is to continue working on a more eco-responsible approach for our resorts.
