The “Tiki” or “Ti’i” is the iconic image found throughout the Polynesian triangle. Hero, god or symbol of the soul of an ancestor, the effigy can be indetifiable by its static and imposing posture, wedged on its bent legs. Its hands are most often placed on the abdomen, with a large head, very large eyes connected to the ears in the shape of an ellipse, and awide mouth.
