Opening of the Tevairoa Gallery
On Saturday, July 26, 2025, Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts celebrated the official opening of the Tevairoa Gallery, a space fully dedicated to contemporary Polynesian artistic expression.
The event took place in the presence of numerous local dignitaries, including the mayor of Bora Bora, as well as a traditional master of ceremony who offered a blessing to this new cultural venue.
A bridge between cultures
Located at the heart of the resort, the Tevairoa Gallery embodies the strong commitment of the 100% Polynesian-owned Pearl Resorts group to elevate local artists and place culture at the core of its hospitality philosophy. Designed as an intimate sanctuary, the gallery invites visitors to immerse themselves in the contrasting worlds of painters, illustrators, sculptors, and visual artists living and creating in French Polynesia.
This unique space extends the resort’s well-established artistic identity, where stone sculptures, artworks, and outdoor installations are harmoniously integrated into the gardens and communal areas—creating an organic connection between nature, cultural heritage, and contemporary creativity.
A rich and eclectic inaugural exhibition
The first exhibition unveils a rich and eclectic selection of works by Pascal Sun, Evrard Chaussoy, HTJ, Cronos, Kanaky, Jean-Pierre Frey, and Pauline Martin. Each artist brings a unique vision, blending cultural heritage, personal commitment, and a contemporary perspective. Paintings, installations, drawings, and mixed media come together in a sensitive, vibrant, and poetic dialogue.
On July 26, 2025, Le Bora Bora by Pearl Resorts inaugurated the Tevairoa Gallery, a space dedicated to contemporary Polynesian art. Located on the motu Tevairoa, this immersive gallery showcases works by seven local artists and reflects the resort’s strong artistic identity, already enriched by sculptures and installations scattered throughout its gardens and communal areas.
