We offer traditional Oa’Ou weddings, led by a local master of ceremonies and accompanied by Tahitian rituals, in our gardens, on the beach or on a private island. A simple but beautiful moment, connecting couples to our sacred island culture.

Let us help you plan your proposal. You choose the location, we’ll suggest a few romantic details, then leave the rest to you – after all, this is one of the most intimate moments of your life, and you deserve full privacy.

Wedding ceremonies at Le Bora Bora are beautifully simple yet profoundly intimate. You can expect a private space tucked away in our lush gardens, or on the beach overlooking the lagoon. Beneath a flower-filled arch, this tender moment is elevated by ancient Polynesian rituals, for a powerfully emotional shared moment.

For short and sweet ceremonies with the minimum of fuss, all-day celebrations with guests, food and entertainment, and everything in between: whatever you have in mind, we can bring your special day to life with a little Polynesian flair.

OA’OA

Immersed in Tahitian tradition, this blessing lasts just 20 minutes but is highly evocative, led by a local tahu’a who will bind you to each other.

TE MOTU

We’ll take you by canoe to a private island, where your Oa'oa ceremony will be followed by a champagne picnic, enjoyed in complete privacy.

LEGAL WEDDINGS

For ceremonies in nearby Vaitape City Hall, conducted in alignment with French law and recognized internationally, we’ll take care of the paperwork, so you can enjoy each other.

For private dining moments that demand something a little extra, we offer four options – each one adaptable to your favorite flavors, and each one unmistakeably Polynesian.

Canoe breakfast

Enjoy the early light and tranquility from the comfort of your overwater bungalow, with breakfast delivered by canoe. Upon waking, you’ll find everything set up on your terrace, so you won’t need to lift a finger and can start the day in the moment, exclusively in each other’s company.

Fare Dinner

Your table is laid within a traditional Polynesian fare pavilion, located in a secluded part of our tropical gardens, with sufficient distance from other diners that you’ll feel you have it to yourself. As darkness falls, the sense of intimacy only increases – somehow combining coziness with the fact you’re still outdoors.

Beach Dinner

With your feet in the sand, the sound of waves lapping, and the silhouette of Mount Otemanu on the horizon, this is a gloriously laid-back and atmospheric moment. With discreet wait staff and carefully placed tables, you might feel like you have the whole beach – or even Bora Bora – all to yourself.

Milky Way dinner

Our most personal and private dinner is served on the terrace of your own suite or villa. With Polynesia’s minimal light pollution, the night sky creates a particularly evocative backdrop. Out here, the Milky Way is clearly visible with the naked eye, and there’s a good chance of spotting a shooting star.
